Scott Morrison demands apology from China over Australian soldier tweet

Scott Morrison has said a tweet by a Chinese official showing a fabricated image of an Australian soldier slitting a child’s throat is ‘truly repugnant’ and ‘utterly outrageous’. The Australian prime minister said on Monday he was seeking an apology from the Chinese government over the image, which was an apparent reference to a recent report from a four-year-long official investigation into the conduct of Australian special forces soldiers in Afghanistan

  1. I am really confused. It is a paint, not a fabricated picture. It is pretty much a fact what he painted and Australia government never apologized. I do not see what’s wrong with this artist’s or his painting. Your soldiers did it, why can’t you just admit it and say sorry?

  2. Great work Scomo, you have lost your greatest trading partner. Who are we gonna depend on now? The US for us being lap dogs? I don’t think so, they’ll just close their trade deficit with China at Australia’s expense. Britain? They have EU to worry about. Scomo has let down the Australian people.
