The Guardian – Britain’s “woke bible” – has for the second time in little over a month been forced into a grovelling apology for its own “foul play,” according to Sky News host Piers Morgan.
“The Editor’s facing calls to resign after an anti-Semitic cartoon this weekend cause outrage in the Jewish community,” Mr Morgan said.
“The image is clearly offensive, but no prominent Guardian commentators have joined the near-universal condemnation.
“The hypocrisy of that silence is deafening and outrageous.”

Apparently the cartoon represented a man who had spent 23 years in Goldman Sachs was represented as connected to Goldman Sachs and – wait for it – had 'exaggerated features." It was a Rowson cartoon – did you see what he did to Boris Johnson. (I admit I have no idea what the squid is about).
I read it 6 days a week for about 30 years. It was at one point IMO the only really decent newspaper in the UK.

It is fashionable now to make grovelling apologies, so here is mine….. Once, about 6 years ago, I was late getting to the newsagent on a Saturday. Something big was in the news that day because there were next to no papers left. I had the choice of the Daily Star, The Grauniad or something called the Sport. To my shame to this day I chose the Grauniad. I am so so sorry everybody, I have let you down. It will not happen again.
