Rolling Stones perform as younger selves using computer generated video

The Rolling Stones’ Sir Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood perform as CGI versions of their younger selves in their In The Stars music video.

The four-minute video shows de-aged versions of the trio appearing as they did at the height of their music career and playing the song from their upcoming Foreign Tongues album to a crowd which features Marty Supreme star Odessa A’zion.

Directed by Francois Rousselet, the video sees a studio session turn into a dance party, with frontman Sir Mick moving his hips in tight burgundy leather before facing the camera to belt out the chorus.

The video was released on Thursday in advance of their new album, which is due to hit shelves in July – their first since their 2023 Grammy award-winning album Hackney Diamonds.

A’zion follows a list of actors who appeared in the band’s videos including Euphoria star Sydney Sweeney, Normal People’s Paul Mescal, Skins actor Nicholas Hoult, Twilight’s Kristen Stewart and Hollywood star Angelina Jolie.

The band’s new album features core members Sir Mick, Richards and Wood, along with collaborators Darryl Jones, Matt Clifford and Steve Jordan.

Earlier in May it was revealed that the upcoming record will feature appearances from The Cure frontman Robert Smith, with the Beatles’ Sir Paul McCartney playing bass on the song Bite My Head Off.

It will also feature appearances from Steve Winwood, formerly of The Spencer Davis Group and Traffic, late drummer Charlie Watts and Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith.
