James Van Der Beek’s ex-wife Heather McComb has remarried four months after the Dawson’s Creek star’s tragic death.
McComb tied the knot with American actor, writer and director Scott Michael Campbell on Saturday in Missoula, in the US state of Montana.
She was previously married to Van Der Beek from 2003 to 2010 and paid tribute to the Dawson’s Creek star in February following his death after a brave battle with cancer.

McComb marked this next chapter in her life by sharing photos from her second wedding on Instagram.
She stunned in a lace-embellished wedding gown with a cross necklace and a long train and veil, while her new husband wore a white tuxedo jacket with black pants and a black tie.

“Our hearts are full and humbled by all of the love that we were surrounded by,” McComb posted.
“God is so good.
“Thank you to all of our family and friends who traveled from all over the country to be with us.
“Thank you Jesus the way maker miracle worker!
“You all made it so special and a truly magical weekend that we will never forget.
“We are sitting here counting our many blessings. Thank you to everyone who made this so special for us!”
McComb’s celebration comes four months after the tragic death of her first husband, Van Der Beek, who died in February at the age of 48 from stage 3 colorectal cancer.
At the time, McComb shared an emotional tribute to her former partner alongside a throwback photo from her 21st birthday — taken before Dawson’s Creek had aired.

“I am heartbroken over the loss of beloved James,” McComb said.
“I am especially heartbroken for his incredible wife Kimberly, his beautiful children and his amazing family, Jim, Jared, Juliana and all of his family and friends who I know he loved deeply.”
McComb also reflected on the life they shared together and expressed gratitude for the friendship they maintained after their marriage ended.
“I will treasure the last loving words we exchanged,” McComb said.
“James was a beautiful soul filled with so much light, love, talent, humor, depth, sensitivity, knowledge and a deep love of God that shined through him.
“He shined so bright yet was so humble and human.
“Always searching, always growing, always going deeper, always chasing things outside his comfort zone.”

Van Der Beek went on to remarry, tying the knot with his wife Kimberly in 2010. The couple had six children.
McComb also stated in her post that “family meant everything” to Van Der Beek and urged her followers to donate to the GoFundMe page set up to support his family.
The page has since raised an incredible $3.9 million ($US2.9 million) for Van Der Beek’s wife and children.
