Thousands of users across Australia have reported issued accessing Google with server errors and slow or blank search results appearing on the search engine.
Almost 5000 people reported Google as down about 3pm on Tuesday, according to DownDetector, with another spike in issues reported about 4.30pm.
Around 58 per cent of users said the issue was related to search, 31 per cent said their content wouldn’t load and 10 per cent said it was aa website issue.

Users trying to search on Google were greeted with a ‘Server Error’ message.
“We’re sorry but it appears that there has been an internal server error while processing your request,” the error read.
“Our engineers have been notified and are working to resolve the issue.
“Please try again later.”
Both outages were short-lived but Google has yet to address any reason for the error.
Other countries have also reported issues, with users in India, Malaysia, the Philippines and Bangladesh reporting similar server errors.
