“OFF CAMPUS I’m forever grateful.”

With Prime Video recently confirming plans for a second season, the LA-based singer added: “I honestly can’t wait to see what artists get this boost next season.”

Fans were quick to celebrate the musician’s success.

“Who has been here since before Off Campus?” one person posted.

Speaking to Rolling Stone, G Flip described the attention as “so surprising”.

“I’ve never had this much of a boom in my career so far. The graphs are off the charts,” G Flip said.

The success of Off Campus has introduced Bed on Fire to a global audience, with new fans sharing clips featuring the song across social media.

Although song placements in TV shows or movies typically help launch news artists, G Flip was already a well-known name in Australia.

However, the show has helped the musician connect with new listeners overseas.

“I feel like my career — I’m still a fresh artist for a lot of people in America and Canada and Asia and the UK and Europe,” they told Rolling Stone.

“I guess people in Australia know me from making music in my bedroom and coming up from triple j Unearthed, so they know more of my story.

“Whereas everyone over here discovering me has just discovered me from Off Campus and now they’re finding my discography.”

Adapted from Elle Kennedy’s bestselling college hockey romance books, the first season of the TV adaptation sees Belmont Cameli as Garrett Graham, Briar University’s cocky but charming star hockey player, opposite Ella Bright as Hannah Wells, who is a smart yet guarded music major.

The books are a series of interconnected standalone contemporary romance books that follow the players of the university ice hockey team.

Each book follows a different couple as they fall in love.
