In the email to staff, content manager Siobhain McDonnell thanked Fegan for his time on 4BC Breakfast and “for bringing a cracking NRL season to life on air with his passion and enthusiasm for his beloved Broncos”.
A new host would be announced soon, McDonnell said.
The departure is the second in a month, with 4BC Mornings host Bill McDonald announcing he was leaving at the end of his final show.
“That’s it for me, I’m calling it quits, I’m signing off – not just for the week but for the last time today,” McDonald said on September 26.
