The 2026 American Music Awards are underway at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
Global K-pop superstars BTS opened the show with a special live appearance — their first performance at an awards show in four years.
The 52nd annual ceremony will also feature performances from lifetime achievement award recipient Billy Idol, The Pussycat Dolls, Busta Rhymes, KATSEYE and New Kids on the Block.
Rapper and actress Queen Latifah is hosting the show, marking her return as MC for the first time in 30 years.
Pop star Taylor Swift leads this year’s nominations with eight nods. Close behind with seven nominations each are Sabrina Carpenter, Morgan Wallen and first-time nominees Olivia Dean and Sombr.
