‘Where else but The Guardian’: Article assesses ‘future of parenthood’

Sky News host Rita Panahi says a recent article in “where else but The Guardian” has assessed whether the future of parenthood could be “virtual children in the metaverse”.

“So, you know, that’s going to be good for our civilisation, isn’t it?” Ms Panahi said.

“Just stop breeding altogether”.

  1. When your goal is a world population cap of 500 million, it makes perfect sense. The people at the top won't stop having kids, just everyone else. Don't worry, the world economic system will collapse before that happens. Everyone will die of hunger, disease, wars or wild animals, that are hungry.

  2. I love Sky News Australia – this team that I can view – anyway , so different much better ,than UK leftie version – Orwells 1984 – already in play – woke will vote for the nonsense until they are quietly cancelled, ideology by ideology – happy days

  3. year on year we are devolved further into morons , yet nobody asks why it is we all need to be stupid
cattle are dumb for a reason
and the recent case where actual court reality is denied publicly by apparent "news" outlets"
    remember the "fake news" thing?
when trusted global information systems openly publish lies to forward a sexist narrative contrary to the facts / witnesses / and in fact Judgement
how the hell do they get to call others "false"??
    and after seeing this
how do we trust them now?

  4. Rita, The Guardian didn't asses it. They merely interviewed an expert on Artificial Intelligence from the UK about a book she wrote. Maybe if you actually read the article (when it was published 5 days ago) instead of script then you would know that no one is suggesting that the human race "stop breeding".
    :I

  5. My GOODNESS you are actually trying to convince humans to accept this???? You should be ashamed of yourself-like humans need more to keep them in a stuck place-you can go beyond & be happy if you choose a different path-don’t accept this thinking to permeate your self at all-there is better just want it❤️💫😊

  6. I had a dream that i had a child. The dream was so real that when i woke up I literally had a panic attack and mourned for the baby i could never hold. It was so real i ached for that baby as if it had dies or been stolen from me.

THIs IS A VERY BAD IDEA.

Also, if children are ised like a video game it could create, for some, the inability to emotionally connect to a real child.

    IDEAS HAVE CONSEQUENCES!!!!!!

  7. Four huskies are bad enough..Fark having kids..Probably why i’ve been married 27 years? you can go away for the weekend and leave the muttz at home, do that with kids, it gets frowned on more so!

  8. Short on details but I could get on board with making this mandatory before allowing any actual children. Parents must properly raise an AI child to 21, meeting minimum standards ~not the least of which would be not killing anyone. We tried “my body/my choice, my kid to let drift aimlessly”, time for the Government to enforce minimum parental guidelines & control

  9. On one hand, cost of living is ridiculous.
On the other, this wouldn't be a problem to begin with if we didn't have a generation of idiotic and infantile adults.
It's all by design though. So no point in asking why this is

  10. Pregnant women were excluded from clinical trials when they were declared safe and effective for pregnant women. Pfizer, the FDA, the CDC, the entire “medical community” and your local employer who declared that you couldn’t come to work if you’re not vaccinated have concluded that this was safe and effective for pregnant women based on trials that were done on rats in France. There have not been any human clinical trials that have been concluded by Pfizer or other pharmaceutical companies to find out if these vaccines are safe for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
