Hmmmp if i were you put a mad and lommy soil in a bucket fell with water then bomb it into the air directly to the fire thats how you stop that wild fire . If u used a ordinary water the fire will laugh at u. Try a swamp water with a mad soil then mixed it before throwing into the air directly on bush of fire

We have been going to kosciuszko national park for past 10 years we went there on Monday morning and were evacuated due to the fires on Tuesday I was gutted but thanks to the emergency services we got out in time and got home safely.

Salute to the volunteers,fire fighters, armed forces and all other people who are working day and night to fight the fires and keep us all safe.

Just a question but why can't we use cloud seeding to induce rainfall to help fight fires?

The fires east of Bairnsdale and around Sarsfield Clifton creek was a result of a Back burn that they didn’t have the resources to patrol the perimeter and as such they got away and this is the outcome. If people only realise what is really going on.

A scientific fact that a forest will deposit 1 ton per year of fuel on the ground…..
A scientific fact is that a bushfire intensity can and has been measured in megawatts per meter … can be controlled up to a maximum of 3 to 4 megawatts …with aircraft ..trucks and tenders etc..The Sydney fires are 10 fold plus and humanly impossible to stop..
Only rain or burn to the sea will they be extinguished..

I’m surprised Australia doesn’t use the Beriev BE-200 Fire fighting jet that’s been used in Greece, Spain, Portugal and of course in it’s country of origin Russia. It loads 30% more water in 1/3 the time of the Sikorsky helicopters Australia leases, and can travel to the fires at 3.5 x the speed of the Sikorsky. It can even fill up in seas with 1.3m waves.
