Opposition leader Anthony Albanese has accused Scott Morrison’s government of trashing Australia’s ‘national interest’. His comments come amid allegations from the government that China had ‘picked’ Albanese as its election candidate. Albanese said the ‘absurd campaign to try and divide the nation’ was an ‘importation of Trumpian rhetoric where truth doesn’t matter’
