The Conservative MP Sir Paul Beresford fails to understand what the SNP’s David Linden is asking him in parliament because of his accent. Linden, who represents Glasgow East, repeats his question twice with no success, before the Commons deputy speaker Lindsay Hoyle suggests ‘the answer might be helped if you can reply in writing’

  1. To be honest, i didnt even try to understand, cuz it sounds like klingon to me. I would even call it a disrespect to speak so fast when your english sounds like this. The guy literaly just spit out all the vowels he had right into my face. Why should i bother trying to figure it out?

  2. As a Mexican American who’s also dealt with a lot of broken English different dialects in Mexico and just overall having a very colorful ethnic friend group I’m surprised I understand him pretty well
