The Guardian ‘ripped’ out one of its cartoons depicting Jewish stereotypes

The Australian’s Media Writer Sophie Elsworth says The Guardian “ripped” out one of its cartoons depicting Jewish stereotypes after major backlash globally.

“The cartoonist also came out and said he misjudged it – he shouldn’t have done this, so he’s apologised,” she told Sky News host Rita Panahi.

“Could you imagine if this was a conservative publication behaving like this – you would not hear the end of it.”

  1. Isn't this freedom of expression? Why do the Jews mock other peoples under the cover of freedom of expression and do not accept that anyone mocks them under the same cover!?

  3. If you want people to stop insulting you, maybe stop getting into left-wing leaning politics and taking away our rights?

It's not because you're Jewish. It's because you can't seem to stand the idea of anybody but insiders to your cabal prospering. And who are the insiders? We shouldn't be surprised because we as humans flock to our own.

  4. Guardian are pure trash. the far left have been anti-semitic forever ; Stalin was very anti-Jewish…. and since the re-establishment of Israel in 1948 the far left stooges in the West have been mobilised to be anti Israel and anti-Jewish generally ………… Labour party in UK have been called out repeatedly for it – Jeremy Corbyn, the man they wanted to be PM , allowed it to flourish as leader of the party,, a man who regularly celebrated islamic terrorists, attended "memorial" events for dead terrorists , was paid to appear on Iranian state tv etc … Guardian is not a newspaper, it is just a collection of articles written by far-left clowns, not journalists mostly,.

  5. I'm not antisemitic by any means, but to be honest real free speech means having the ability to look away, turn the page, change the channel, etc. Funny how people CHOOSE to be offended (and it is a choice, make no mistake), and choose not to exercise that other half of that right. True freedom isn't always going to be pretty; if you force it to be, then you've lost true freedom. My savior and his mother are debased in art all the time, but I simply Choose to not give it attention.
