Mel Stride out of Tory leadership race as Robert Jenrick leads second-round vote

The shadow work and pensions secretary, Mel Stride, has been knocked out of the Tory leadership race after he came last in the second round of voting, following Priti Patel out of the contest. Robert Jenrick came first in the vote, as he did in the first round. He secured 33 votes, five more than Kemi Badenoch
