Huge crowds in Tel Aviv demand deal be agreed to free hostages

People poured on to the streets of Tel Aviv on Saturday night to protest against the government’s failure to secure the return of the remaining hostages held in Gaza. Similar protests were held in Jerusalem.

The protests came a week after one of the largest demonstrations of the war, which came after the discovery of another six dead hostages in Gaza. Israel has been under increasing pressure from the US and other allies to reach a ceasefire deal, but the prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, has so far pushed back, causing growing anger among Israelis who the hostages returned safely

    خاب وخسر جيش وشعب وطن من لم يفتعل اسباب المحبة والسلام مع مصر وأن مصر وان طال صبرها.؟
    فهو ليس ضعف بل من مصدر قوه في البلد الوحيد التي جائت على الأرض بفرض السلام والأمن والأمان بين الإمم ستاظل مصر عونا وسند لكل من استغاس واسعان بها فهي قادره على طي الأرض ومن عليها لكل عدو أو محتل اوختصب أو متجبر أو متكبر والله ورسوله المستمعين على ما يصفون… تذكرها جيدا

  3. A reminder: the 500,000 Israelis who protested yesterday weren’t protesting against the genocide; they were only protesting for their hostages. Don’t be misled by any Hasbarist, especially those who claim to be ‘leftists’; Israelis aren’t protesting against the war.

  4. The world is waking up to the corrupt Netanyahu regime. The last thing he wants is a end to the war, he would be arrested and tried for crimes against humanity. He will take his own country down if necessary
