The section in Brazil, which has suffered the most deforestation since 2006, is already producing more carbon than it absorbs, and there are worrying signs that the rest of the forest is not far behind. 1. Be careful when sending your money to NGOs in the Amazon.

The LULA Government has returned, and they love to enjoy that money that you send. And they don't care about Amazon, the media just lie to you.

  2. That's that the problem in the Amazon. Poverty .There are 23 milion people living in the Amazon that use the resources from the river whereabouts .ilegal deforestation is a big problem, may we borrow few helicopters and satelite acess over de area
we need help and work together . U.S. took a month to put down the fire in California imagine i t's a 20x bigger área. Please stop been the biggest carbon emissions country in the world, heat fings down here.
    cheers

  3. Be very careful with donations to Amazon because the money may not reach its destination. Lula's government has already been investigated and was part of the biggest corruption scheme in Brazil. Research the "Lava Jato" corruption scheme where Lula and his gang stole the country and the people.

  4. Prince Phillip warned of the removal of the world's largest rain forest and the danger it had on world climate over 50 years ago. He has been shown to be totally correct, and still the forest is being reduced. Who listens?

  5. It seems now the "First World" found a scapegoat for their miseries… But against facts there are no arguments: Brazil is not even in the top 10 carbon polluters countries in the world. Plus, Brazil's percentual of green and renewable energy is much higher than in the USA and EU. Reforest your countries and shut down your factories first, before trying to teach the world on the importance of preserving forests.

  6. People forget that Capitalism is an infinite growth system, there is no breaks, if there is breaks there is no growth and that means bankruptcy followed by complete economical collapse, so how do you solve this massive contradiction by introducing green alternatives that are unprofitable and at the same time make things profitable? A no growth Capitalism is a complete system collapse regardless how you look at it.
Economy must be planned by computers according to resources and the needs of the people, not by market anarchy and profit margins.

  7. why don't you post a video about the fires in European countries that are really destroying. Amazon belongs to Brazil and no other country should interfere. Brazilian sovereignty!

  8. Because the because the soil is so poor they have to move to the next piece of land to farm. Basically, they have to clear and cut another piece of the Amazon to farm, after they've worn out the piece of land that they were using. The whole thing is tragic.
