Enzo Maresca praises Chelsea’s ‘spirit’ after Nottingham Forest brawl

Things escalated minutes later when Neco Williams clipped the heels of Marc Cucurella as they chased a loose ball to send him flying into the Chelsea manager, Enzo Maresca, in the technical area. The incident prompted about 15 players to push each other and exchange words. Chelsea, who picked up more than six bookings during the match, triggered a charge for failing to control their players. In his post-match press conference, Maresca said: ‘I like the team the way they are fighting.’
