The Pentagon has said it is tracking the balloon but decided against shooting it down for safety reasons. Defence officials said the balloon had been watched since it entered US airspace, flying at high altitude, a few days ago. The object first flew over Alaska’s Aleutian Islands and Canada before appearing over the city of Billings, Montana, on Wednesday, officials said.

  1. I got it on my live as well it's so crazy I kept saying yall this not the moon I took pics and I kept telling my husband that looked like a floating latern balloon in the air the next morning I hear all this

  2. Earlier, India shot down a Pakistani balloon and captured a Pakistani spy pigeon. Recently, the US shot down a Chinese balloon. I think America is influenced by India that is why India and America are allies now. America is becoming third world, believe it

  3. Spying and violating of the teachers’ privacy and safety has been done for years by Assumption university. AU installed, recorder hiding in the teachers office assigned for two and uploaded for years without teachers’ awareness. One of the criminals sent by AU was the owner of KP group trading, two times in front of my home. The uni knew that I stayed alone.

  4. I’m waiting for someone to make a video of the balloon being shot down as 99 Luftballons by Nina is being played. That is literally the first thing I thought of when I first heard about the balloon.

  5. So the Biden’s are compromised with China! Did China threaten to let all the cats out of the bag if they did not let him get all the info he wanted? Did he give Biden an ultimatum? Why has no one thought about this???

  6. Yes, it has to be shot down to be retrieved. However, I don't think it came from China, but it may have been launched here, from the USA.
A while ago, I was watching TV, and saw a show where young, promising scientists were competing in a contest for the most likely successful scientist. There was a winner with a large ballon. Attached to the ballon was a camera. This ballon was suppose to be able to read the atmosphere. Did anyone watch this show on USA TV, too?

  7. i really don't know how to describe the Chinese government. they are mad about the US government for bombing the balloon where it is obvious that it is in the US airspace and the US has the every right to do what they want to do. what if the US will fly a balloon on the Chinese airspace? what will they feel? I'm sure they will also get mad to the US government. The Chinese government thinks that they can have all the right to do what they want wherever it may be.

  8. Subject: Potentially Unauthorized Weather Balloon Sighting at Fort Huachuca, Arizona on about the month's ranging from between FEB through OCT of 2002

    To Whom it May Concern,

I am writing to bring to your attention a concerning matter that occurred at Fort Huachuca, Arizona, on or about FEB – MARCH 2002.

A strange weather balloon was observed hovering over the fort, and upon inquiry to the chain of command, it was stated that the presence of the balloon was approved by an individual higher up in the chain of command, supposedly due to its association with an NGO conducting weather and atmospheric research.

No instructions verbally or otherwise, where assigned to the open view of the weather balloon. In other words, no disposition or classification was given to the weather balloon in regards to any type of secure information: TO REITERATE (the open view of the weather balloon), by verbal inquiry DID NOT fall within any of the following specifications: Confidential, Classified, Secret, Top Secret

Given my experience in the military, and with regards to the recent news release that China had been involved in an illegal counterintelligence operation, within the Sovereign borders of the United, I have reason to believe that there may have been corruption or Chinese involvement in this matter, either through lobbying with Arizona state legislators or within the chain of command at Fort Huachuca. Common Sense suggests "Someone/Somewhere" had to grant approval for that balloon to continue flying over a secure military installation. There is also the possibility that this was a long-running Chinese counter-intelligence operation successfully operating within United States for more than 20 years.

I request that a thorough investigation be conducted to determine who approved the presence of the balloon, who was operating it, and if there was any potential for bogus research credentials utilizing an NGO "cover entity" as a ruse. The presence of the weather balloon was not a secret, as it could be seen from beyond the city limits of Sierra Vista, Arizona.

If there is sensitive information regarding the project (who, when, or why) the weather balloon was authorized to fly over Fort Huachuca, I understand that it may not be within the public domain anyway. I further understand, I have not revealed any such specific details, if they exist, because I "did not / do not" have access to that info anyway; therefore, I am not guilty of any treasonous actions by bringing this matter to the attention of the public and/or government because I did not knowingly release protected information. If any such allegation were to occur, even then I might still be protected by certain whistleblower statutes.

I appreciate your attention to this matter.

    Sincerely,

    Satoshi Nakamoto
