Australia fires: out of control bushfires continue to burn near Canberra

An out of control fire has burnt 2,575 hectares of Namadgi National Park, south-west of Canberra, the Australian capital. Residents have been warned to activate their bushfire survival plans.

  1. To all the dumbarse climate change noodles, fire redection burns will reduce the fuel load available to the fire when not if a fire starts. By lowering the fuel level you can limit the damage done. Take this example if you have a coke bottle top with petrol in and poor it on the ground a little flame starts. Now get 20 litres and poor it all around you or are in a shed and spark a match, it will explode and take off just as a bushfire that has had no fire management done in 15 to 20 years.

  2. Sympathy to Australia. Please reflect on the inefficiency of government effort. And reflect on our accusing Asians for blackening the sky for cooking with the little wood fire because they can not yet afford gas and electric cookers as we do.
