‘Arrogant’: David Littleproud slams Steven Miles for ‘ugly’ speech

Nationals Leader David Littleproud has slammed outgoing Queensland premier Steven Miles as “arrogant” for his “ugly” speech after his government’s election defeat.

The Liberal National Party is expected to form a majority government in Queensland, bringing to an end nine years of a state Labor government.

“I think the speech that we saw from Steven Miles last night just reinforced why Queenslanders got it right last night,” Mr Littleproud told Sky News Australia.

“Steven Miles was petulant, he was arrogant, and, quite frankly, it was ugly.”

  1. Wonder what monetary interest he has in gas fracking? & indeed nuclear – fess up mate! & if he's wanting incentives for household solar – does he think ANYBODY would be mad enough to go down that path with albasneezie wanting to tax the input to the grid? Lots of questions we won't get answers to – as corrupt as the greens???

  2. Littleproud is in my opinion one of the most dishonest people in government along with Angus Taylor. How much water has he mismanaged now. Him calling Steven ugly is the pot calling the kettle black. I would never want Littleproud or Taylor leading me.

  3. Don’t expect the dump labor created to be fixed in one term
    This will take time
But expect labor to push the narrative where’s the change
    After 12mths 2yrs
Don’t be fooled labor turned QLD into third world state
This will take time to fix
If I’m not mistaken after sir joh we have only had one lnp government
In other words after the seventies only labor bar one lnp government
So let’s give lnp if continue conservative politics the same time

  4. I am not interested in these politicians personal views they should be interested in the views of the Australian People. That is what they are employed to do. So I suggest they should put that as a priority.
