AFP and FBI nab criminal underworld figures in global sting | SBS News

Australian Federal Police, the FBI and law enforcement agencies globally are celebrating what they are calling ‘the sting of the century’.

They’ve given details of a 3- year covert operation targeting organised criminals who were tricked into using encrypted phones which police could decode and read in real-time.

Senior Police say lives have been saved, a mass shooting prevented and tonnes of drugs seized during coordinated raids around the world.
