500m ‘skyscraper’ coral reef discovered off Cape York

Australian scientists have discovered a massive detached coral reef just off Cape York on the Great Barrier Reef that’s taller than the Empire State Building. The 500m high reef was discovered while a team from James Cook University were mapping the northern Great Barrier Reef seabed.

  1. Just look at it. Teeming with life as it should be. Not a pale crusted husk of shards left behind by humanity's worst examples.
    I shall never stop fighting for a Resource Based Economy. The more I think about how we structure our society, the more crazy it becomes. Making stuff to break down so it makes people buy more.. to keep a system of annihilation going. Totally back-washed primitive culture with NO education. Jacque Fresco was right… Man is the dumbest creature.
