In this guide, we’ll outline our top international roaming plans across various budget types.

But as a starting point, here are our most popular roaming-compatible plans currently available:

International roaming plans $30 and under

Why we chose this plan:

TPG’s 50GB Medium Plan includes unlimited international calls and texts to 31 select destinations, on top of unlimited local talk and text. Its download speeds are capped at 150Mbps, which is plenty for the average Aussie.

Plus its current promotion slashes 50% off the first six months meaning you’ll pay just $17.50 for 50GB.

International roaming plans $40 and under

Why we chose this plan: For those seeking more data, amaysim is the ideal choice. For just $40 per 28 days, you’ll get 80GB of data with speeds of up to 100Mbps and unlimited international calls to 42 selected countries. Plus if you sign up before April 30, eligible customers will get $25 off their first renewal, making it just $15. Every renewal thereafter is $40.

International roaming plans $50 and under

Why we chose this plan:

Well-known for its generous international offering, Lebara will give you a whole lot more for a little bit extra. The Vodafone-powered telco’s $49.90 Extra Large Plan comes with 100GB of data at speeds of up to 200Mbps. This can be used over a 30-day period.

As if that’s not enough, Lebara offers, not one but, three promos on its Extra Large Plan.

Until May 4 you’ll pay just $19 online for the first month.

For the first three recharges, new customers will get 100GB bonus data – that’s 200GB for the first 90 days of your plan. Last but not least, until August 11, Lebara will also include 100 bonus standard minutes to selected Zone 1 countries.
