Terrifying video shows alleged armed motel break-in


Terrifying video has emerged of an alleged armed break-in at a motel in Bourke in western NSW.

A clip posted to social media, obtained by 2GB radio, showed masked offenders brandishing knives during the alleged break-in.

Police say a group of people forced entry into staff accommodation at 4.40am on February 22, threatening a 24-year-old man.

The group then allegedly broke into a second motel room, where a 52-year-old man suffered a minor cut to his neck.

Police also allege the group stole cash, bank cards, and mobile phones before driving away in an allegedly stolen white Holden sedan.

A crime scene was established and a few hours later the car was found on a street in Orange.

Police suspect the incident is linked with another break and enter at a caravan in Bourke the same day.

The investigation into both incidents is ongoing.
