Teen boys charged after allegedly carjacking woman at knifepoint on the New South Wales Central Coast


Three teenage boys, one as young as 13, have been charged after a woman was allegedly threatened during a carjacking on the New South Wales Central Coast.
Police believe a 42-year-old woman had stopped her car on the side of the road on Heador Street in Toukley about 1pm yesterday.

Officers said three teenage boys allegedly approached the car and threatened her with a knife, before demanding she get out of the car.

The 42-year-old woman wasn’t physically injured. 

The three boys allegedly entered the Porsche SUV and sped off.

Police said the car allegedly crashed into a Holden utility on Main Street shortly after.

The boys allegedly ran from the scene. 

Police arrested three teenage boys, aged 13, 14 and 15, at a home in Toukley about 2pm.

All three have since been charged with aggravated assault with intent to take or drive a motor vehicle while armed with a weapon.

The youngest boy was charged with driving unlicensed. 

The trio were refused bail and will appear before a childrens court today.
