Music fans out of pocket and furious after cancellation of 80s music festival


Music fans are furious after tickets to a sold-out festival featuring 80s popstars including Boy George and Bonnie Tyler was cancelled with little communication from event operators.

The roll call of international superstars, also including Tony Hadley and Starship, was scheduled to perform at the Timeless Summer tour.

But the tour’s been cancelled, and the event company responsible has gone into liquidation, leaving thousands of fans out of pocket.

There’s no suggestion of any wrongdoing from the artists.

A Current Affair tried to contact the promoter, but haven’t heard back.
