Man wounded as knife-wielding gang invades Sydney home


A gang of armed thieves has broken into a man’s home, attacking him with knives.

The group of up to five people broke into the home on Bexley Rd at Kingsgrove in Sydney‘s south about 4.30am on Monday.

The resident suffered a wound to his leg during the home invasion.

Paramedics treated the man at the property before taking him in a stable condition to hospital.

“A crime scene has been established and inquiries commenced by detectives attached to Campsie Police Area Command,” NSW Police said.
