Girl, 14, killed in horror pile-up crash involving truck in Queensland

A 14-year-old girl has tragically died at the scene of a three-car crash in Queensland‘s Bundaberg region.

The teenager was travelling as a passenger in a white Mazda CX-5 with a 22-year-old driver when they were involved in a collision on the Bruce Highway at Apple Tree Creek before 2am.

Police said an initial investigation suggested a Volvo prime mover truck was travelling northbound along the highway when it collided with the Mazda and a white Toyota Hilux, which were both travelling in the southbound direction.
