SES teams and police divers were at the Hampton property on Tuesday.
Anyone with CCTV from the area or who believed they had seen the motorbike was urged to contact police.
Police believe the accused man was known to Woods.
“We’re still establishing the circumstances around their relationship and what has taken place,” Harmer said.
He urged anyone who might know Woods or the accused man, or might know anything about their relationship, to contact police.
Officers alleged the suspect left the Cressbrook Creek area “some time after the disappearance” of Woods and was located on the Gold Coast.
The Cressbrook Creek address was associated with the man, but police were still determining the address where he lived.
Harmer said police believed examination of the scenes would take days.
“A forensic examination has been conducted and is going to be conducted over the coming days at both crime scenes, with a view of identifying evidence,” Harmer said.
