A woman has drowned and police are searching for two children missing in the Georges River in Sydney’s south-west.
Emergency services were called to a boat ramp in Floyd Bay in Lansvale just after 10am today following reports of a woman and two children in the water in distress.
The woman was pulled from the waterway soon after, but was unable to be revived.
A search is underway for the two children, involving police marine and aviation units and the SES.
