An emergency warning has been issued for a potentially deadly fire in the Balonne region in Queensland’s south-west.
The Queensland Fire Department has advised residents at Dirranbandi to seek shelter immediately as lives could be in danger.
The QFD says it’s too dangerous to leave Dirranbandi and people should take cover inside a brick building or a room with multiple escape points.
