Yes you read that right — Optus is offering a huge 50% off on the iPhone 16e for its Black Friday sales.
The discount brings the price tag down to $499 for a 128GB model, but the device needs to be partnered with either an Optus 36-month or 24-month plan.
This totals a $13.88 per month discount on a 36-month plan, or a $20.82 discount on a 24-month plan. So for the low price of at least $77.18 per month, you’ll get a new iPhone plus your monthly mobile plan covered with Optus.

If you’re more of an Android fan, Optus’ 50% off discount also applies to Google Pixel 10 Pro and Samsung Galaxy S25 devices. For Google’s latest device, you’ll save $1,000, and for Samsung, you’ll save $700.
These savings are calculated over either a 36 or 24-month period. This means Pixel 10 Pro XL customers will receive a $22.78 discount on a 36-month term or a $41.67 discount on a 24-month term.
