Wild theories emerge for TV star Katie Price’s ‘missing’ husband Lee Andrews after his Dubai disappearance

Wild conspiracy theories have erupted online after British TV personality Katie Price claimed her husband has been “kidnapped”.

The former glamour model said the last time she spoke to her husband Lee Andrews was on May 13 while he was attempting to board a flight to the UK from Dubai, where he lives.

Since then Price has been updating fans on his apparent disappearance through her YouTube channel.

She claimed during their last phone conversation, Andrews told her he had been “captured” in a van and had “ties around his hand” with a “hood over his head”.

The mother-of-four said no one has heard from him since that call and an official missing persons’ report has been filed with the British Embassy in Dubai.

But while Price fears something “really serious” may have happened to her husband, conspiracy theories about the case have begun circulating online.

British reality TV star and entrepreneur Luisa Zissman said she flew to Dubai this week on a “mission” to track down Price’s missing husband.

Zissman shared a series of videos on Instagram suggesting her search was not entirely serious, including footage of her looking for Andrews in the Emirates Lounge at London’s Heathrow Airport.

After asking followers to share their theories about his disappearance, people flooded the comments with speculation.

Some claimed Andrews is “not real”.

Zissman also posted a comparison image of Australian actor Chris Hemsworth working out at the gym next to a similar-looking photo of Andrews, suggesting Price’s husband may have edited his face onto Hemsworth’s body.

“He’s 100% AI, it’s a social experiment,” one Instagram user claimed.

However, one person defended Andrews, claiming she had met him and Price in Dubai and insisted “he is real” and “lovely”.

In a video posted from Dubai, Zissman poked fun: “It’s the end of day one looking for Lee Andrews missing persons case. I’m trying to bring Katie Price’s husband home. So, I’ve discovered a few things.

“He was seen as active on Facebook Messenger six hours ago which does indicate that his kidnappers are definitely letting him have access to social media.

“Makes you wonder why he hasn’t reached out to ask for help.

“Who knows but I did see that while I did some digging on Facebook. It’s looking unlikely I’m going to be able to bring him home. Where are you Lee? Everyone wants to know. A nation wants to know.”

Originally from Nottinghamshire, Andrews is a businessman who is now based in Dubai, having moved there 21 years ago.

The 43-year-old states on LinkedIn he is the CEO and founder of Aura Group Future Urban Travel 2027, which appears to be an electric car company.

While Price hasn’t directly addressed the rumours surrounding her husband’s disappearance, she did share a cryptic message on Friday.

“There’s only one person I need to look after and that’s myself, so I’m taking a step back,” Price said.

“I don’t know what’s true, what’s not true — I don’t know.

“My tentacles are up, my antennas are up and I’ve decided to take a step back from everything, assess everything in my way and just continue with my life.

“What will be will be.”

Andrews has previously denied claims made by two former partners that he is a swindler who targets women.

Price married businessman Lee Andrews in a whirlwind ceremony in Dubai in January.

It marked the fourth marriage for Price, following her previous marriages to Australian singer Peter Andre, Alex Reid and Kieran Hayler.
