Micronesia gets new Guardian-class patrol boat

The Australian Government delivered the Guardian-class patrol boat FSS Tosiwo Nakayama to the Federated States of Micronesia during a ceremony at Austral ship building facility in Henderson, Perth, Western Australia, on Friday, 11 March 2022.

The FSS Tosiwo Nakayam is the 14th Guardian-class patrol boat delivered by the Australian Government under the Pacific Maritime Security Program.

His Excellency, David W Panuelo, President of the Federated States of Micronesia, accepted FSS Tosiwo Nakayama from Assistant Minister for Defence, the Hon. Andrew Hastie, MP, via video link.
