The search for a teenager who was reported to be in trouble in the water at a popular holiday spot has been suspended.
Emergency services were called to Little Bay Beach, Arakoon — near South West Rocks on the NSW Mid North Coast, about 4.20pm Sunday following reports an 18-year-old man was struggling.
Officers attached to Mid North Coast Police District responded, alongside Marine Area Command officers and Surf Life Saving NSW.
The multi-agency search was unable to locate the man and will resume on Monday morning.

Sunday’s incident occurred less than an hour’s drive from Crescent Head, where a 59-year-old man drowned after being caught in a rip on Saturday.
