‘He has a bad boy attitude’: could this be Australia’s grumpiest cat?

Chester has been dubbed Australia’s grumpiest cat. He has been adopted (and returned) four times due to his ‘bad boy attitude’. ‘He will swipe at you but it’s generally when he’s telling you that he’s had enough,’ says Jenny Sherring from the RSPCA. ‘If you can learn to read those signs, it’s generally not so bad’. The RSPCA hasn’t given up on Chester yet and is patiently waiting for the right owner to come along. ‘What I love about him is he’s so chatty,’ says Sherring. ‘He can be really affectionate when he wants to be. I hope that we can find the right home for him. It’s just a matter of being patient.’

  1. He's lovely 😍❤🥰 that's because he haven't found the right person to be with eventually he will 🙏😇 it's kinda like humans we peak who we want to interact with they could sense many stuff we can't prayers sent buddy for your forever home to come soon ❤️❤❤

  2. We rescued a cat some eight years ago that was much worse than this one, and even now we need to be very careful when dealing with him. On the other hand, when he wants, he can be the sweetest of cats.

  3. As of 2019, The International Cat Association (TICA) recognizes 71 standardized breeds.
I'm sure there will be breeders out there trying to create number 72, the Grumpy cat. This could be followed closely by number 73, Tongue-out cat.
