7NEWS live updates: Police probe link between kidnapped grandmother and gangland shooting

A Sydney home, caravan, and business have all been shot at overnight.

A Fairfield man and woman in their 20s were home when bullets sprayed their Margaret St residence, before a dark-coloured SUV was seen leaving at 11.15pm on Wednesday.

A single shot was then fired at a caravan parked on Aberdeen St in Bossley Park 40 minutes later, and a white Audi sedan was seen leaving the area.

Shots were also fired into a business on Mcilwraith St at Wetherill Park about 3am on Thursday, after which a car was seen driving off — police believe it was either a black SUV or ute.

No one was injured in the shootings, but police are investigating whether the incidents are connected, or linked to two overnight car fires in Kings Langley and Lalor Park.
