Hamas ‘no better than ISIS’: The Guardian Australia slammed for anti-Israel letter

The Guardian Australia’s Editor-in-Chief Lenore Taylor has raised concerns about the signing of an anti-Israel letter by 24 of her publication’s journalists and staff.

The letter is part of a media campaign urging people to treat information from the Israeli government with as much scepticism as information put forth by the terror group Hamas.

Herald Sun columnist Steve Price told Sky News host Sharri Markson, “If you consume what the Guardian produces then you’re getting one side of the story”.

“To compare Hamas with the Democratically-elected government of Israel is disgraceful,” he said.

“Hamas is a terrorist organisation no better than ISIS before it, or Al-Qaeda.”

  1. The signatories to the letter are overwhelmingly of a certain demographic, and it does raise the question, how much diversity in media is enough? The media is an important guardian of our culture and values. Or should be.

  2. Hang on Sky, where is your unbiased, fully informed reporting?? You're picking out trash reporting and going to town on it instead of the Truth! How about question the fact that alleged Hamas attacked Israel, (knowing FULL WELL that mass destruction would befall them) and Israel was asleep at the wheel?? This smacks of a covert deception. Then go way back in time to who actually inhabited the lands, then the ottoman empire, then after WW1-the Balfour accord and league of nations, then Churchill and the end of WW2, and on and on.

  3. They are all in the same boat as the Taliban, and that orange make up wearing loser thought it was a great idea to release 5000 of them from prison inc the leader of the Taliban and possibly members from ISIS-K. Thanks donald Chump!

  4. thank god im not European most brainwashed people on earth…..you ppl cant see the biased in sky news? especially skynews Australia gb news…. LOL FIRST WORLD COUNTRIES MAKE ME LAUGH…

  5. Wow, Pricey. For someone who claims to be a journalist you should know how Hamas got to power.
It has something to do with a "democratic election".
Keep banging the pro genocide drum, Steve.
    :I

  6. Israel has the distinction of receiving an apology from ISIS for mistakenly attacking Israeli soldiers! It's common knowledge Israel supported ISIS and previously supported Hamas… is this an argument about who was better in bed? Hamas apparently was "no better than ISIS"
