Queensland Police posted on 2 Feb, 2024 on their social media handle. In order to combat adolescent offending and enhance community safety, Taskforce Guardian brings together law enforcement and skilled juvenile justice professionals. They collaborate with local police to carry out joint operations such as bail checks, community and family engagement, and targeted investigations. Since Taskforce Guardian commenced operations in May 2023, more than 826 young people have been arrested on 2,697 offences with 351 diverted from the youth justice system.
