I envy this.. You are making history! I really wish I can join you but my family, community and school (I go to a private religious school) denies climate change. Hopefully in a few years from now, I plan on marching with you, not because I "Want to start a revolution" but because I want justice. Justice for our planet, justice for mother nature, justice for all the billions of families across the world suffering from these attrocrities that destroy many important resources on our planet, and even animals!!! ✌ 🌎

Chicken Little, "the sky is falling down"…. Climate Change is "mostly" Natural Variability and Carbon Dioxide is ONLY a minor player in the Greenhouse effect,,, even Water Vapour is many times a factor of influence. We all know that CO2 adds to heat in the atmosphere "but" there are many factors that far exceed and drive what we call Climate Change.
Even if CO2 was a sufficient "driver", the 400 ppm is needed to "grow food crops within a season". The reality is that in parts, starvation will absolutely occur should CO2 levels drop below 300 ppm,,, that's a fact and not some hypothetical proposition. Extinction is a risk, if CO2 falls below 250 ppm ,, that's another side of Science , best remembered.

Everyone who protests over how CO2 is the cause of climate change clearly haven't done their study.
I believe in climate change, but I don't believe CO2 is the problem, I don't believe climate change is bad. And I don't believe we are the cause…
So here is my message to those that are protesting against Co2. Give up, drop those signs because CO2 is love, CO2 is life. ☺

It's interesting how many people in this comment section critizing that youth strikes won't do anything and the kids are just being lazy. I personally believe that striking has it's meaning.
The youth climate strikes has led me to a few conclusions. Those who've been trying has already tried their hardest and now they want to tell the adults who have the power to make desicions try their hardest too. The strikes are meant to send a message, because how else are they supposed to share their views when youth are often looked down upon for being too immature. That's why some think that the actions of the youth lacks meaning. That is exactly why students and other youth came together, because they share the same problem of not being heard. They share the same issue of not being taken seriously.
