A woman’s body has been found in a river in rural Victoria on Monday morning.
The grim discovery was made by members of the public in the Yarra River at Warburton, about 75km east of Melbourne, at about 11am.
It is understood police and SES have retrieved the body from the water.
The woman is yet to be identified.
Investigations remain ongoing into the circumstances surrounding her death.
