A five-year-old girl has died in a serious two-car crash in Queensland.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of Drayton Connection Road and Luck Road in Vale View, south of Toowoomba, about a crash on Saturday morning.
Officers arrived to find a Ford Ranger and Subaru Outback had collided.
A five-year-old girl was rushed to Toowoomba Base Hospital for treatment.
She later died from her injuries, Queensland Police confirmed.
The girl was in the Subaru. A 64-year-old woman who was the driver and another child were also taken to hospital for treatment. Their conditions are not known.
The 19-year-old man behind the wheel of the Ford was taken to hospital as a precaution.
Two of his passengers, both aged 18, were not harmed.
Investigations into the fatal collision is ongoing.

According to the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads, 83 people have died so far, down from 11 compared to 2024. The figure is updated weekly on Mondays.
