A young child has been pulled lifeless from a Brisbane pool after being reported missing hours earlier.
The 4-year-old girl was reported missing by family about 9.40am on Monday from a home on Deakin Pl in Forest Lake.
Police said extensive searches were done of the area before a nearby home was also checked.
The girl was found dead in a neighbour’s pool at about 12.20pm.

“Circumstances into the girl’s death are being investigated,” police said.
“A report is being prepared for the coroner.”
