Popstar Harry Styles has put together an impressive run in a surprise appearance in the Tokyo Marathon on Sunday.
The 31-year-old entered under his full name but was not spotted until the sold-out race was underway.
Styles finished the 42.195km course in a strong showing of 3:24.07.

Averaging 4:51 per kilometre, he also split the race almost perfectly with just one second between his first half and second.
He ran his two fastest 5km splits (23:26 and 23:16) between 25km and 35km but faded somewhat afterwards, running his slowest by far to the 40km mark.
Footage of Styles running — and being supported by fans — went viral during the race.
“This was definitely not on my 2025 bingo card,” one fan wrote.
“I’m really happy that he’s enjoying his free time but I miss him on stage and I need new music from this angel.”
Styles last released an album in 2022 and finished up his most recent tour in mid-2023.
“I would say I’m glad he is enjoying his break but training for a marathon isn’t enjoyment or a break in my books,” another fan said.
