Best NBN 100 deal

Typically we’d start with NBN 50, the most popular speed tier, however, the NBN 100 deal we’ve discovered this month is just too good.

Customers who sign up for Tangerine will pay just $60.90 per month for speeds of 100Mbps. This is thanks to its current deal offering $25 off per month for the first 6 months. After this, the plan will revert to $85.90 per month but, even for just 6 months, this is a huge saving for this speed tier. This offer ends February 28 so you better be quick.

If Tangerine isn’t for you, here are some more options available from other providers:

Best NBN 250 deal

If you’re after even faster speeds than average, an NBN 250 plan could be the one for you. This particular plan from Dodo offers a generous $15 off per month for the first 12 months, which is double the usual deal duration of other NBN offers. This plan will set you back just $83.90 per month then increases to $98.90 per month after the first year. This offer ends April 29 so you have a little bit more time to decide if it’s for you.

Not a fan of Dodo? Here are more NBN 250 plans on offer:

Best NBN 50 deal

If you know you don’t need anything more than the standard speeds that NBN 50 delivers, here is a fantastic deal from Exetel.

For just $60.99 per month, you’ll get unlimited data at typical evening speeds of 50Mbps. This pricing is made possible thanks to Exetel’s current deal offering $19 off per month for the first 6 months. After this, monthly pricing increases to $79.99 per month. This offer expires on March 3.

Here’s a selection of some more providers and their current deals for the month:

Best 5G home wireless deal

Fixed wireless isn’t always an option, which makes 5G home wireless a great alternative. Not only are plans around the same price point per month as NBN, but speeds can sometimes be faster. The Optus Plus Entertainer Superfast 5G plan, our top pick this month, is priced at $89 per month instead of $99 per month.

Customers will enjoy uncapped speeds, meaning the plan will be as fast as the network and real-world conditions allow, but can expect download speeds of 210Mbps during busy hours. This plan is also contract-free but to avoid paying a fee for Optus’ modem customers will need to stay connected for 36 months.

Best 4G home wireless deal

For smaller households of 1-2 people, 4G home wireless is a great pick. TPG’s Home Wireless Broadband deal costs just $44.99 per month but after the first 6 months increases to $54.99 per month plus existing TPG customers will save an additional $5 per month on TPG’s 4G home internet plan.

If you do choose to jump ship after the promo pricing ends, you’ll simply need to return the refurbished modem provided. Plan download speeds are capped to 20Mbps and you can expect typical download speeds of 15Mbps during busy hours, so keep this in mind.

There are plenty, even slightly faster, 4G home wireless plans up for grabs. Take a look below to see if one of these suits you better:

Best mobile broadband deal

For internet on the go, a mobile broadband plan from Vodafone is a great choice.

Priced at just $20 a month, you’ll receive 30GB of data plus an additional 30GB each month on its Small Data SIM Only Plan.

This is a very affordable plan, especially considering the bonus data. But if you need more data, here are several other mobile broadband options to choose from:
